<p dir="ltr">All the newly launched laptops these days have the fingerprint and face lock in it. Due to the ease of access with it, we often forget our password/pin. And then if any day we have to use our pin, we suffer a lot.</p>
<p dir="ltr">And even if you are able to login with your fingerprint/facelock, you will still not be able to reset your password/pin as it will ask for the old password first.</p>
<p dir="ltr">Not to worry, we&rsquo;ve got you covered. If you forgot the password/pin of your laptop but you are able to login with fingerprint, then do this to reset your password:</p>
<h4 dir="ltr">Step 1: Search for command prompt(cmd) in your laptop:</h4>

<h4>Step 2: Right click and Run as administrator</h4>

<h4 dir="ltr">Step 3: Type the command&nbsp; <strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">net user USERNAME&nbsp; PASSWORD</span></strong></h4>
<p dir="ltr">(USERNAME will be the username in your laptop, PASSWORD will be the new password you want to set)</p>
