5 Android settings you should turn off right now!!!!!

image

We rely so much on our smartphones that we end up becoming irresponsible and giving a lot of information to the apps which they don’t actually need. And this can be very very dangerous for us. Giving apps permission to invade your phone which is not even needed for them is the worst thing.

Here are the 5 android settings which you need to turn off right away.

Bluetooth and wifi scanning:

It keeps scanning for every wifi router, public hotspot, and bluetooth which makes our phone very much vulnerable to be scanned by hackers. So turn it off right away. To turn it off:

Go to settings → Location → Location services → Wi-Fi andBluetooth scanning→ turn it off.

Personalized ads:

Ever wondered, whenever you are talking to your friends or family about a product, and soon after that you get to see ads of the exact same product on your phone? Yes your phone has that permission to invade into your conversation and know your interest. So turn it off by:

Settings→ Google → Manage your google account →Data and privacy → turn off personalized ads.

Location history:

Your phone tracks your location continuously and keeps a log of wherever you go whatever you do. It has every bit of record since the day you are using your phone. Your phone knows where you were three years ago Sunday evening, which definitely can be very very harmful for you.

You can turn it off:

Go to settings →Location → Location services → Google Location History → Turn off (or you can also set it to auto delete after a particular time period).

Location permission for apps

Most of the apps don’t need to know your precise location to run. So don’t give location permission to your apps which don't need it. And the one that needs it, you can choose to allow it only the time the app is actually working. It should not have the permission to track your location forever.

To close it:

Settings →apps →app management /app settings → turn off location permissions for apps which don’t need it.

Crucial notification showing on the lock screen:

Most people take it very lightly and they don’t hide the content of sensitive information from their lock screen. So even if your phone is locked, anybody can read your emails, your bank transaction messages, your OTPs and many more sensitive things.

To turn it off:

Settings →Notifications → Notification Lock screen→ Hide content.

Go ahead and turn it off right away to save a bit of your data.

Can AI Make Our Food Safer Than Ever?

Can AI Make Our Food Safer Than Ever?

Every year, millions of people around the world get sick from eating contaminated food. The World Health Organization (WHO) estimates that more than 600 million people fall ill annually, and about 4.2 million die from foodborne diseases. That’s a huge number — and the scary part is, much of it comes from something we can’t even see: toxic fungi known as mycotoxins. But now, scientists may have found a way to stop this problem before it even reaches our plates. Thanks to artificial intelligence (AI) and a powerful imaging technology, our food supply could soon become safer than ever.
